The bone should be strong enough to hold and support the implant. If there is no adequate bone, it can be added through bone augmentation or bone grafting procedure. Additionally, natural teeth and supporting tissues around the implant placement should be good in health.
  • Implant Supported Bridges

Implant-supported bridges are similar to a regular dental bridges, the only difference is supported by implants but not by natural teeth. When implant-supported bridge is used, one implant is placed in the jawbone for each missing tooth and the crowns are connected to each other to form a piece. If more than one tooth is missing, then you should opt for implant-supported bridges. The procedure can also be opted when there is a chance of putting too much of pressure on individual implants.
